Beer & Barrel featuring Corn Coast & Heaven Hill at the Heights Draft Room

Keeping with the theme of Omaha Beer Week, we moved Beer and Barrel for the month of February up a week and included a barrel aged offering from Corn Coast Brewing out of Lincoln, NE to the mix.

BA STOUT UNCUT: A blended barrel aged stout using Heaven Hill, Willet, & Buffalo Trace, and a few more, we expect this one to be a top tier offering from the guys down south. Coming in at 10%, with no adjuncts, most likely barrel forward it should showcase the notes each barrel imparts. Hints of vanilla, chocolate, roasted coffee, and more to fill each glass.

What more fitting bourbon to pour than a Heaven Hill product with the brewery’s namesake, Mellow Corn! We have been waiting for a special event to pull this one out from the portfolio and things couldn’t have lined up better. With at least 80% corn and aged for at leat four years, this Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon swings well above its price point. A higher proof sweet treat, this one should meld perfectly with the stout from Corn Coast
