La Vista Loop Fun Run

The City of La Vista invites the community to lace up their running shoes for the La Vista Loop, a fun, family-friendly 1-mile timed run hosted by La Vista Recreation.

Whether participants are seasoned runners, first-time racers, or simply looking for an active morning, the La Vista Loop offers something for all ages. The race begins at 8:00 a.m. at Nines Plaza, with awards presented immediately following the final finisher.

The fun starts even earlier, with family-friendly activities beginning at 7:30 a.m. and continuing until 10:00 a.m. Attendees can enjoy a bounce house, sno cones, a coffee truck, chalk art, and access to the Nines Plaza slides.

Registration is now open.

• T-shirt registration deadline: August 27 at 11:59 p.m.
• Final registration deadline: September 11 at 8:00 p.m.

Strollers and well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome, making this an event the whole family can enjoy.

Participants will be professionally timed, with awards presented to the overall top male and female finishers, as well as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each age division:

• Ages 0–5
• Ages 6–11
• Ages 12–15
• Ages 16–19
• Ages 20–29
• Ages 30–39
• Ages 40–49
• Ages 50–59
• Ages 60+
