La Vista City Centre continues to expand its mix of businesses in 2026, with four new tenants opening or under construction throughout the 34-acre mixed-use development. From fitness and entertainment to flexible workspace and personal services, this yearโs additions bring new ways to work, gather, and experience City Centre.
โThe businesses joining City Centre each bring something different to our development, but they share an important common thread: they create more spaces and opportunities for people to connect and for businesses to thrive,โ said Chris Erickson, owner of Placemaker Properties. โWeโre proud to continue building a mix of businesses and experiences that serve the people who live and work here while creating a destination for the broader community.โ
With IMAGE Studios and Regus now open, City Centre is home to 16 businesses, with that number set to grow to 18 with the upcoming openings of ALTAR Studios and Exit 4 Escape Room. Both are currently under construction on their permanent spaces at City Centre.
- ALTAR Studios is already welcoming members from a temporary location within City Centre while construction continues on its permanent space. The community-focused movement studio offers yoga, indoor cycling, strength training and dance for all levels, blending high-energy fitness with a supportive, inclusive atmosphere. ALTAR also focuses on building connection through its classes, pop-up events and local collaborations. Its permanent City Centre location is anticipated to open the first quarter of 2027.
โALTAR was built around the belief that movement can be more than a workout. It can be a place where people feel seen, connected, and part of something bigger than themselves,” said Audri Saylors, Founder of ALTAR Studios. “City Centre has given us the opportunity to build that kind of community in a space that feels alive and connected to the people around it. Weโve been incredibly grateful for the support, collaboration, and genuine excitement from the City Centre team as weโve grown. Opening the doors to our permanent studio feels like such a significant next chapter for ALTAR, and weโre excited to continue growing here and contributing to what City Centre is becoming.โ
- Exit 4 Escape Room will add a new interactive entertainment experience to the district, featuring four unique adventure rooms designed to challenge groups through immersive puzzles and collaborative problem-solving. The location will also include a dedicated party room for celebrations, group outings, and team-building experiences. Construction is currently underway, with an anticipated opening late Fall 2026.
โOver the course of several years, La Vista City Centre has become a hub of activity for the Omaha metro area. As our first-ever downtown core, the development has already welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors to La Vista,โ said La Vista Mayor Douglas Kindig. โThe new businesses that have opened, or will be opening soon, are bringing a great mix of experiences and services to La Vista City Centre, and we expect further growth to happen in the future.”ย
The upcoming openings build on two other businesses that joined City Centre earlier this year.
- Regus opened the first phase of its City Centre location in June and completed its second phase in August, bringing flexible, professional workspace to the PapillionโLa Vista area. The location provides entrepreneurs, remote professionals, and growing businesses with a place to work, meet with clients, and scale with adaptable workspace. Members also gain access to Regusโs global network of more than 3,000 locations across 120 countries.
- IMAGE Studios opened at City Centre in January, bringing its modern salon suite concept to the development. The space provides independent beauty, health, and wellness professionals with individual studios to operate and grow their businesses.
These additions complement City Centreโs established mix of dining, retail and services, joining businesses including Heights Draft Room, Pen & Dagger Bookstore, Let It Fly, ALLO Fiber, Starbucks, Chiliโs, Waxing the City, LโElle Nail Spa and First National Bank of Omaha. Together with The Astro, Vivere Apartments, and a growing calendar of community events, these businesses continue to add activity and variety throughout the development. As City Centre grows, the focus remains on cultivating a diverse tenant mix that gives people more reasons to visit, gather and experience City Centre throughout the day.
